Joyriding… (updated)
No I did not steal a car and went joyriding … I simply enjoyed a ride, sorry I mean: “A RIDE!!!!”
Yesterday a friend of mine, who I share the office with, came home with a Ferrari. Yeah that’s right … a bloody red F E R R A R I. As I was moving stuff to my new home I was only able to give it a quick look.
Today however I got some time to take a ride along with him. No, no driving myself as handling a Ferrari is not for rookie drivers and it really needs some practice. But he took me for a spin, and hell!, no theme-park ride can beat this toy!!! A little 500 horsepowered engine drove us nearly to 200km/h in just a few seconds. That’s like turning your heart and stomach 10x round before you can say “sweet momma”.
I took some snaps of this beautiful monster, to bad it was early in the morning and I was missing some nice sunlight. Oh yes … I’ll try to make a soundclip of the engine sound of I have a chance, ROOOOAAARRRR humhumhumhumhum ROOOAR.
PS.: I wasn’t allowed to tell, but he let me take the car for a little drive … most enjoyable I must say … most enjoyable!
UPDATE: I tried to capture some audio, but the gsm recording capability was so poor I can’t tease your ears with it. However, you can head over to YOUTUBE and catch a vid full of sound and motion about this fantastic vehicle.
